Ethics in Business – Good Practice Guide Cork

The Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI) Seminar on Ethics in Business – Good Practice Guide Cork will take place on the 22 October 2013, in University College Cork.  This seminar will be presented by Alan McGilton and will cover the following topics:

• Embedding Ethics

• Ethical Values Training : using scenarios/dilemmas

• How to develop and use scenarios/dilemmas

• Examples for discussion & debate

• Tackling Ethical Issues with Confidence

Alan will be using Scenario examples throughout the presentation which will be followed by Q&A.

Speaker: Alan McGilton, Group Head of Business Development for OSG Outsource Services Group, Dublin.

Alan McGilton has extensive experience over 25 years, up to senior corporate level, of working in all areas of the insurance market in Ireland and UK. He spent 16 of those years with Aviva’s Hibernian Insurance, operated for a period as an independent industry consultant and now works in OSG providing outsource solutions for the insurance industry.

Alan holds a MBA Degree from Henley Management College, England. He is a member of various industry associations including the ACOI Ethics Committee. He is a regular conference speaker and seminar facilitator.
